I asked a couple my wife and I know to come to dinner tonight. They are to wear 18th-19th century clothing and bring their rifles. I'll have a cd of period music playing and candles will be our only illumination.

For dinner, we're having a catfish stew for a first course, followed by roast beef and vegetables, asparagus in a hollandaise-type sauce inside a french bread, and rice pudding for dessert. All the recipes are from a Youtube series by Jas. Townsend & Sons.

Mead for a drink, with water and tea.

Should be great!
