LYMAN HAS TICKED ME OFF

I sent a .54 cal Deerstalker barrel back in March under there recall,
well today I get a package from them and they have sent me a .50 cal Trade rifle barrel, :cursing: What the heck is wrong with keeping records and barrel straight? Now I got to wait till Monday to get ahold of them, maybe by then I may cool down a little by then. :shake:

I your reply KINDLY ask that they send the stock for the barrel they so graciously gave you! :idunno: ya just never know?

Tell them when you ask for that stock, you want it with all the pieces parts installed, so you can shoot the barrell they screwed up sending you :rotf: . I would tell them you want a prepaid shipping lable, for what ever company they use for shipping, and send it IN THE SAME BOX with the COTTECT barrell. Once you get the correct barrell with the shipping lable, then you will send back the barrell they screwed up sending in the first place. How did they screw this up :idunno: :shocked2: .

Well the Deerstalker/Trade rifle is pretty much a swap.
But the down grade from 54 to 50 would get me PO'd too!!
Gather your best attitude come Monday when ya call,, they'll fix the mess by sending a return label,, but it's gonna take another bunch of weeks!!

I got caught in a Lyman recall when they had that nipple thread/helicoil fix mess with their IBS barrels.
By the time I got the barrel back,, I lost a full season of shooting with it. Thankfully it wasn't my only gun.

Remember that the nice lady on the phone didn't screw up your order & likely doesn't personally know the person who did.

Be civil.

At least you got a barrel back, I'm still waiting on mine. I'm gonna call next week and see what the status is

After a nice chat with a nice lady my replacement barrel will be here Friday and a return label to send the Trade rifle back.

Seems the issue continues. Received my replacement barrel today for my .54 percussion GPR. Opened that box to find a nice new barrel for a .50 GPH flintlock :cursing:. Guess I'll get to talk with the nice lady tomorrow

I'm ticked off that my Lyman didn't need recalled after hearing about all of these nice accessory kits they're sending out for free. :idunno:

Hey, if anyone gets a lefty flinter GPR barrel by mistake then I'd be real happy to send you a shipping label.

Finally got the right barrel today. :wink:
I do see that they reused the sights, and under rib from the recalled barrel.I only know that because mine had my mark on them.

Barrel was the problem not the other parts. Your car gets recalled they don't replace every thing
