I am looking for a new Green Mountain replacement barrel for my T/C Hawken cap lock rifle. 15/16ths diameter, 1-66 round ball twist, .54 caliber, with breech plug, under lug rib, 32", or length that will fit my T/C Hawken, with ram rod pipes and sights.

TOW seems to be out, "back ordered" they list...

I can't see that Green Mountain advertises them. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Glen

Glen,
Those Green Mountain "Drop-in" barrels have been out of production for quite a while. Occasionally one will show up for sale in various online locations so a comprehensive search, Google, or whatever search engine you choose might turn one up.
An alternative is currently being offered by Rice Barrel company. Jason saw the interest in such a product and has responded with a "drop-in" option that's as close to what you seek as I've ever seen.
Also....you can discuss your interest with any number of rifle builders and ask them to give you a quote on what it would cost to produce a fully finished out "drop-in" from a barrel blank.
Good Luck.

Call 845-361-4857, they have drop in Green Mountain barrels for T/C Hawken, 40 and 54 for $260.

I bought one years ago for my 50 cal T\C. Best investment in that rifle I ever made.

You may wish to check out TOTW and have them do what you want\need to a factory GM barrel.

I quoted the ad as written, calling the number might help you to see who it is.

I have 4 Green Mountain T/C barrels so I did not call the number.

Never mind Richard. I have no clue why you want to hide the identity of the business. And here I thought two non negative posts in a day was a sign of some kind :rotf: silly me.

You have a nice day now ya hear

very odd you remember the # but not the business :youcrazy: or is this a power trip thing, like "Iv'e got a secrete and you must earn it"

WHATEVER

I have no green mnt barrels and probably never will so you win :shake:

I am not hiding the identity at all, I typed straight out of the magazine, so much for trying to help a member here.

Have someone look up the ad in March 2018 MB and send it to you.

I know meanmike can send it to you, he is a MLRA Rep so he has the magazine.

I dont want it. Was curious is all, I note a NY phone #. and if you wanted to help a member you would provide the name of the business you gave a number for. I just cannot believe, despite your obvious very high intelligence level, that you had glanced at an add and recalled the number but not the business. Therefore I call :bull:

FOR SURE. Either Richard Eames Barrel CO or Barrels from the Middle east :rotf:

Whatever. Like I said I just was asking out of curiosity. Should always consider the source :slap:

Hi Everyone,

I did look it up, no company name in the ad. There is a lot I could say about why there is no name with the add, but I won't! We will say someone was not thinking clearly at the time the ad was posted.

Really no surprise. These days half the headlines on-line for news are misspelled! I was..... loooong time, many many moons back a newspaper printer. Publisher would stop the presses for plate change if a comma was out of place in dear abby :shocked2: . Journalism has changed a bit :shake:
