....of a squirrel session with Jess yesterday.
She had to stay tethered to me yesterday. She was a little too excited!
Anyway, good sparks and two down, well, good sparks yes but the damp got to the pan unknown to me as I swung on a passing crow! The contents of said pan fizzing and me maintaining my lead (leed) on the bird hoping the fizz would find its way into the tube :haha:

Oh yeah, the generic photo.

Another squirrel fricassee in the future?
https://martin.ces.ncsu.edu/wildrecipes/squirrel-fricassee/

Some years back an old fellow brought an electric crock pot to the Sunday afternoon trap shoot at the gun club during the dead of winter. The crock pot was filled with what he called squirrel fricassee. Although I had never seen a squirrel fricassee recipe with green pepper in it, this crock pots contents did indeed have green pepper swimming with the onions and squirrels. My, oh my, was that ever good! It was the best tasting squirrel recipe I have ever eaten. It makes me wish the small game season was open here in Minnesota.

It sure does look like fun! Does Jess ever get to try the squirrel at dinner time?
