I can see how a .50" would be very useful too.

I feel the cold and I guess living in a temperate climate makes me soft. Plus I have little to no thatch of my own left!RJDH said:Good pictures and nice hunt, Brit!
Can I ask a question?
How in hades do you manage to wear that fur hat??
I mean, it gets minus 30 to minus 40C here, and I always wear me old English flat cap! It got to be a habit back home and the habit continues.
I Do have a fur hat like yours, but I get an awful sweat on so never wear it. Maybe twice for half an hour, but that's all.
Cheers,
Pukka.

I'm wondering if you are using the Skychief load in these smaller smoothies? :hmm:
If so, is it working as well in them as the larger bores?
Thanks for sharing and best regards, Skychief.

Come to think of it, I think I was "frozedest" back home as well!
Could come in from ploughing at six, and it'd be 9 PM before I got warmed up.
A bloke from way up north where they can get it colder than here, said the coldest he Ever felt was when in the army stationed in England, LOL!
Pretty near died he was so cold. so yes, I'd forgotten about damp cold.
Minst, your fur hat looks Much better than a flat cap when hunting traditional!
Cheers
Richard.

The term is V common over the big pond!
Two sayings were used over there, offering different points of view;
"You can't grow hair and brains as well"
and conversely,
"An empty barn don't need thatching" !
All the best,
Richard.
