Not much about this weekend so let Jess loose and she soon found a squirrel to tree.
She gave enough voice to guide me in and was circling the tree for me.

He is a priceless addition to an afternoon in the woods!

 I gotta keep my favorite G Shepherd on leash while hunting. PIA but he would chase deer and he is a firm believer that only his self, his sister and his parent belong on earth and attacks all manner of other canine :shake: But when he sees a squirrel he is OK, full attention till he grabs and gives the "death shake". He caught one last year, the "death shake" was over zealous (as he did this all by him lonesome LOL, and the rodent went up about 30 feet. Very comical as he turned here and there looking for it then SMACK it fell right by him and scared him (2nd shake).

My Beagle Dolly was "squirrel crazy". Next to rabbits they were her favorite critter to hunt.

A good squirrel dog makes squirrel hunting more fun....and more successful.
