I like the color of spikebuck's capote also, I do wonder if Game wardens would consider it "Blaze Orange enough"
The only state I hunt that requires Blaze orange is Colorado, and they are pretty nutty about the Blaze Part. SO I made a blaze orange hunting shirt.
I got in trouble during a hunt with my nephew, I was not even hunting, just along for the ride. I was wearing a blaze orange jacket with black leaves painted on it to break up the outline. I wished I had patented it cause a few years later it was all over! Anyways, officer told me it did not comply with regulations. Only reason I did not get a ticket was because I was not "actually" hunting.
Your hat, if you choose to wear one, must have blaze orange visible from all directions, hence the orange cover on my hat.
Just my experience with Blaze orange regulations.
Cool capote thought, as well as the hunting frocks and capes!! I plan to make a blaze weskit for myself. Since its not a traditional color I will use fleece for cost sake.
