The wild north

A movie I had just seen on TCM. It’s a Stewart Granger movie, and typical Great White North movies. It got my attention that Granger has what looks to be a brain tanned coat. He meets an Indian girl who goes north with him and she likewise has her plunder in what looks like a brain tanned coat. When they get to the Indian village most of the Indians are in split cowskin leather except for the chief and an extra who ware brain tanned.
The Indian girl sports a necklace and ear rings of elks tooth. I don’t know if they made ceramic copies in the 50s.

I suspect you are referring to The Wild North. It is a Stewart Granger movie that I have not seen yet. I saw him in King Solomon's Mine & North to Alaska in the last couple of weeks. He is one of my favorite actors.
