Enclosed are images of a sxs double barrel 10 bore percussion gun . This gun was built in 1852-53 by Deane, Adams, Deane London gun makers of 30 King William Street and 1, New Weston Street I have restored this gun of late although there was little work such has removing the dirt and grime from the stock but leaving the patina I also replaced the two main springs in the lock , the hammers are not the same one has been replaced some time ago maybe the original had broken or lost in is life time, also the gun is fitted with a grip safey but on the whole a servicing gun

Just getting back on. That's a nice double from one of England's better makers...wow! Ought to bring home the bacon or goose! :haha:

I, too, have been off-line. Beautiful!

I would not have noticed the grip safety had you not pointed it out. Never saw one like it before

Thanks for sharing. I am feeling a bit covetous.

That's because us Yanks are jealous we can't easily purchase such fine Original English shotguns.
