Well, I can see three shotgun images and one of a bow being tillered.

From what I can see you have a Belgian-made side-by-side made after 1852 and before 1891.

It is in pretty dire condition, but might clean up well enough to grace a wall - shooting it would require some close examination by a qualified person. Looking at the length of the barrels it is what can be described as a 'fowler' and is probably in something like 12g - the 17.2 stamp is the bore size in millimeters.

Sorry I can't be of any more help until you come up with better pics.

Welcome to the forum. :)

The barrel proof marking says it is Belgian.
The 17.6 is the bore diameter which equates with a 17.6mm or .693" diameter.

That would be a 14 guage shotgun.

Around my part of the country, Pennsylvania, those doubles are everywhere. I just looked at two the other day in similar condition and both were priced at $150.00. In the end it is worth what someone will pay for it.
