A rough and tumble longshoreman on the waterfront in Baltimore, could handle himself against most anything, except cancer. He died peacefully last Thursday at his house in the country where he loved watching the deer and turkeys in his yard. He was a long time French and Indian War re-enactor and was unable to make his last planned trip to Ft. Frederick. He died the day after his 39th wedding anniversary and the day before his retirement was to be effective. Today there will be a flintlock salute in his honor at the graveside.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your friend.
We did a similar salute for one of our friends some years back.
