A Known Minnesota Gun Builder, Businessman and a friend to many.
Taken suddenly in a tragic MC accident.

Michael J. Dolney, Jr., 45 year old resident of Randall, MN passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014 as a result of a motorcycle accident.

Michael was born on October 8, 1969 in Little Falls, Minnesota to Michael Sr. and Bernadette (Harris) Dolney. He attended school in Little Falls where he participated in football and band and graduated from Little Falls High School with the Class of 1987. After graduation he attended the University of Minnesota Duluth for one year. Michael was employed at Coborn’s Bakery throughout his high school and college years.
He also worked at Champion Paper Mill in Sartell, MN, Maplewood Group Home as a caregiver, and served as the union Vice President for the AFSCME Union.
His greatest passion in life was his love for muzzleloading guns. He owned and operated Free Trappers Muzzleloading in Foley, MN and organized Muzzleloader Appreciation Day.
Michael was also an avid Harley Davidson rider, and enjoyed custom building motorcycles.

"When I quit this mortal shore, and mosey round the earth no more, don't weep, don't sigh, or grieve or sob; I may have struck a better job. Don't go and buy a large bouquet, for which you'll find it hard to pay. Don't hang 'round me looking blue, I may be better off than you! Don't tell folks I was a saint, or anything else you know I ain't. If you have stuff like that to spread, please hand it out before I'm dead. If you have roses, bless your soul. Just pin one on my buttonhole-but do it while I'm at my best, instead of while I'm safe at rest."
sorry to read this,,I didn't know him but there is still a loss felt,,Reads as we have another worthy man on point..see you at Point la Barbe,,

I do share with your loss of Michael J. Donley,
though we have never met.
As each of us pass on we leave fond memories with those that we have befriended and impressed.
And even though the small mark on earth is ever so small, that only the memories of ourselves are all that is left, during our short stay here on this earth.
May his memory last beyond his time here.
Fred
