Believe it or not, these three photos represent one guy's personal collection. All are originals. There are more Handgonnes, Matchlocks, Wheellocks, and Flasks than most museums. Hard to believe. Enjoy. Rick.

First, thank you for sharing! Nice, very nice. Any close ups of the accoutrements in the glass cases?

Hi Wulf. If I ever get accidentally locked into a building, I hope it is his place. It would be three days before I would call for help. :haha:
I'll ask (beg!) him for some more photos. Rick.

Hi Richard. Yes, I'll see if I can get more close-ups of the Wheellocks. From a distance in the photo, the wheellocks and matchlocks look styled for military type usage?
This collection belongs to a fellow collector aquaintence of mine. He lives in Europe. I know he has more photos. Rick.

Wow!
That...is something else. What a type collection! Does this collector need to adopt a son? I'm available if he needs a heir to pass this down to someday.

Agree with other folks that closeups would be very welcome. Thank you for posting the images.

Is it in any way possible to get in contact with this guy ?
I have a qestion about a european matchlock he may bee able to answer.

Here's some photos of a couple Gothic Tiller Guns. The first is from about 1450, the second from 1500. He said the guns in his collection are 400-700 years old. Amazing. More photos to come. Enjoy. Rick.

BillinOregon:

Ricky: You need to warn folks to take their heart pills before posting this kind of thing! Poor Teleoceras is going to have an attack when he sees this.

I saw it soon after he posted and was literally struck speechless. Nuff said.

Slowmatch Forever!
Teleoceras

Two military Wheellock muskets. The upper with a combined wheel - and snap matchlock, from Suhl, Thuringia, and dated 1602. The lower Nuremberg, ca. 1600. Both preserved in near mint condition. Unbelievable. Rick.
