There are alot of them kicking around the 'vous I frequent, have not heard any negative press from the owners. I have seen a few in passing, they seem well made at a glance, I have never touched one though.

Any more details, got pics of what your hoping to get. How reasonable are his prices

his prices start forabout $1.650 for a plain jane rifle . Straight maple no curl .N o other extras.

From that point the sky is the limit

Your vent pick is in backwards---a branch'll pull it out of there some morning. been there, done that.  just my thought. That is a sweet rifle the carving is very eye "candy" ....Tom

Hello
One of my good friends has one and we hunt together in our local forest. He has a Bucks in .50. Very nice looking and shooting rifle. Quality is there, but Tip Curtiss or Mike Lange pull great quality at lower dollar. Mr Westgate's carvings are very pretty and much attention is given to details in fitting parts as well as carvings amd inlays. Personally I've seen and held three of them and they varied from simple one to fancy for a few thousands. Is it worth the money? Of course it is! You will be happy with her I'm sure! Make a lot of good smoke with her! Thank you for sharing
