I recently ordered a replacement butt stock for a
Remington #4 boy's rifle. I made one phone call to place the order, I sent one email to confirm the conversation, and I recieved the part in three weeks.

Pretty good service from my point of view.

Over all the years I have been on ML forums and mailing list I have not heard anything negative about them, that says a lot to me.

I did my first build from one of their stocks in the early 80'S my only complaint is my fault ,I wish I would have ordered a fancier grade of wood
but due to that being my first build other than a T/C kit & my own inletting for everything other than the barrel & ramrod I thought what if I goof Up , well The biggest goof up was ordering the plane jane stock!
I was looking for a barrel underrib like I got I thought from them in the 80's last week & called them .They checked & had one I told them to also send me a
stock , this time in grade III maple , they said it would be 3 weeks, maybe I should have ordered it in gradeIV.
They were a great company in the 80's & still are.

I've built over 12 rifles that came from Pecatonica River.
They are excellent people to work with who know about muzzleloaders and how to treat their customers.

The wood they supply is always a better grade than they say it is and the cost of having them do any work on the guns is very low.

There selection of stock shapes is good but, as with all of the advanced "kits" on the market a lot of extra wood is left on them.

I highly recommend them.
Just Jim...
