I have been working on this off and on for about 1 1/2 years it is made up of cheap, free, and homemade parts. The lock was $5.00, the .45 barrel free, the stock is a slab from a wind damaged KS walnut tree, nose cap cow horn, and I made the entry pipe, trigger guard and trigger, so not counting labor I only have about $20.00 in this rifle. And before someone asks the cheek piece is on the correct side it is the lock that was made "wrong"!

Looks like you have built a very interesting rifle there. :thumbsup:

A person would be hard pressed to make such a gun so cheaply too. Just a lock and barrel can set a person back over $200 nowadays.
 
Looks like a dandy little hunting rifle! As to the cheek piece, looks pefectly natural to me its that bassackwards lock which don't look right. :hmm:
