Don't know why it happened but 35 years after last shooting black I've picked up a Pedersoli 10 ga with cylinder bores. Had 3 outings with .750 round balls and trying to work up a decent pattern with #6 shot. Pretty brutal with only a 7 1/2 lb gun but then I laced on a recoil pad from Cabelas and it was pure fun after that.

No question there's going to be a flint in my future!
 
Welcome back Weston, I was away from the sport a number of years myself. Luckily some great guys kept the powder dry for us and this is the best Forum to meet them and restart a good habit, IMHO.
