Howdy! My first gun was a CVA Tower Pistol kit I made as a kid forty years ago. Still have it. 25 years in the Army. Picked up another CVA kit along the way - 1851 Colt Navy - and a Pedersoli Kentucky flintlock much later while passing through Union City, TN. At the moment I live in the windy city of Baku on the Caspian Sea, but hope to come home soon to resume my ballistic hobbies. I love the old ways and look forward to your fellowship.
 
I think Baku was a key priority for the Wehrmacht during Barbarossa. The oil fields. It was why they needed Stalingrad.
