Ok guys i am getting close to my finished pistol and i want some cool accessories for it. I am going to build a custom pistol stand, slash loading stand for it, with some neat tools. Like in the accompanying photo, my first order of business is the loading rod. What i cant do or find is the bore guide for the ram rod, and cleaning rod. I no longer have access to a lathe so making my own is out. Any help in this area is welcomed

Have a cleaning/loading rod that I picked up. Has bore guide. Handle is aluminum. Rod is 9” in length. Have both a .36 and .44 loading jag that came with it. Rod is threaded 10X32 for the jags.

Sturdy and handy for any caliber pistol with a 10X32 jag thread.

Unfortunately, I acquired this loading/cleaning rod some years back and don’t know how I came about owning it?

Anyway, I’d thing that someone still makes these.

Respectfully, Cowboy

Make one? Bought a stainless rod from ace hardware. Cut and threaded one end 10/32 and other 8/32nd. 10/32 for my rod accessories, 8/32 to attach drawer knob handles purchased from ace. Made some different short starters as well.

I found what i wanted at the Possibleshop. Aluminum head, 10-32 thread, and brass rod. Also got 2 muzzle savers that fit the rod. I believe my .45 rod tips will work with this .44 barrel. Working length on rod is 11" so should work on all my muzzle loader pistols, . 44, .45, .50 cal single shots and may also work on my .36, and .44 revolvers. Now to build the load station

Bravo! Now you have helped others find what they need too!

A brass flare nut from the plumbing supply section of a hardware store. Can be used as a rod guide. Just make sure the I.d. Is the same as the rod, and the o.d. will fit in the muzzle. The threads can be filed out of the inside of the top for a more finished look
