  • Friends, our 2nd Amendment rights are always under attack and the NRA has been a constant for decades in helping fight that fight.

We have partnered with the NRA to offer you a discount on membership and Muzzleloading Forum gets a small percentage too of each membership, so you are supporting both the NRA and us.

Glad to have you back. I've been wondering what happened to you. (No, you don't need to tell us.)
If you want your old name back, Angie can probably do that for you. Angie is our administrator now and she is fantastic when it comes to solving problems or changing names.

A few things have changed with the new software the forum runs on. Private messages are now called Conversations. To see if you have a new PM, look at the little envelope at the upper right hand area of the screen.
We now can talk about breech loading muzzleloading guns like the 1859 Sharps. The only requirement is that the gun cannot use a cartridge that has a built in primer. The gun must use a separate source of ignition. This makes talking about the Ferguson Breech loading flintlock rifle (and others) something we can talk about. A gun using a Pin fire, rim fire, center fire and any other self contained cartridge are still off limits.

Here's a link to start a conversation with Angie if you want to use it. Don't forget to give it a title.

As with myself, I tell people.
I'm not a gen X, I'm not a gen Y, I' not a millennial, I am a perennial every year people think I'm dead but I keep showing up.

Welcome back Perennial Johnson.
