I picked up this rifle at a gun show here in Montana this winter and it’s extremely nicely done but I can not find any identifiable markings on who the builder was. It’s .62 cal swamped Colerain barrel, Chambers English round-faced lock and Chambers white lightning liner. I pulled the barrel
out and even the butt plate but cannot find any initials or specific stamp, only thing I saw was a 1 or an I stamped on the inside of the lock. Just thought maybe one of you guys might recognize some particulars of a builder. Thanks for any help

Nice work. It is a shame whoever made it didn't see fit to put their name on it. Even if one does a poor job on a rifle it would be nice to add your name or some other identifying mark.
