I've corresponded with the OP via email about this rifle. It is a GRRW Leman, but is also one that you don't see too often. It is one of their Little Leman's which was a scaled down version of their Leman Trade Rifle. Here is a description of the rifle from their 1976 Catalog.

That’s a dandy little rifle! Looks like it’s been used a fair amount but it’s got a lot of life left in it. Enough for a hundred years more enjoyment!

Have an exact copy, but the only marks found so far is GR and a number stamped into a flat on the right side of the barrel. I have had the gun for 30 years about. .It is a 50 caliber.

Can you post some pictures of your rifle? Include a close-up of the marks on the barrel.

Greg Roberts was the General Manager of the company, but he generally used a grizzly bear paw print as his makers mark.

It's possible your rifle is a kit build and the stamps are from the person that put the kit together.

I think it must be a kit gun, I removed the lock to clean it and it looks, like the inlet work with an ax. I got the gun in a trade at a gun shop. I have not shot it for about 30 years having been involved with other things.
Retired now finally so back to basics, and real Black Gun Powder
