Anyone have one of these rifles in .32cal? It looks like one of Crockett's last rifles that he actually owned. At 1:48 twist, will a patched ball be accurate? Looking to acquire one and need some advice. Merry Christmas to all!!! Randy

Lots of threads on the rifle here on the site. Accuracy is stellar for some folks (me, too), and not for others. The devil is in the (loading) details. Some fine tuning to be done to the gun itself, but that's covered in the threads, too.

Neat, lightweight little bunny basher for me.

Brown Bear, how can I access previous threads on this subject? Randy

Either use the site's search features, or scroll back through the pages here in the Percussion section. You might also find some in the Hunting section.

:surrender: Oh Boy! Waiting for Nit Wit's Squirrel to arrive and I had a Traditions Crockett rifle waved in front of my nose! Oh Well, I bought that today. Now, after reading the threads concerning the accuracy of the Crockett, I will range-test both to decide which to keep. Am I kidding anyone here? For the money, both will stay with me, at least for the forseeable future!
