No big rain, but the wind picked up at 9 and was howling by 10. the only thing I saw on Satruday was a medium sized 4 pointer right at sun-up. Came within a few yards of the tree I was in, and all I could do was watch him root through the soy beans and a few fallen acorns.

I gave up the hunt ~1 when forcast was for the wind to get worse as the day got on. Considering it was already howling, I did not regret heading for home to spend the rest of the day with my family.

This is the little buck I saw. He has shown up a few times on my game cameras. I think he beds down around where I hunt. Hopefully he's there NEXT year (and +1 spike on the rack).
