Hello,

It seems like there are quite a few Vermonters here. I live in the NEK, east of St. J. Been reading this forum for months but only decided a few days ago to finally join.

I've been a casual blackpowder shooter for awhile. I have a CVA .45 flintlock pistol I've had for years (and would only shoot it every four or five years or so) and I have an original AN. XIII pistol which I would never shoot (not just its age but its condition). I started Napoleonic reenacting 4 years ago and so picked up a repro M. 1777 musket but really didn't start putting balls through it until this summer. Suddenly I'm hooked, shooting it fairly often and when I'm not I'm shooting the .45, which has seen more balls through it the past month than the previous 10 years!

Now I'm eying my next flintlock but that's the topic for another post!
