Went to the woods a couple days ago with my 12 Ga SXS. I loaded the right barrel with PRB for Deer maybe. The left barrel with #5 over 80 Gr of 2f. Took a seat at one of my favorite spots a little after daylight. I had been there about an hour when I heard a squirrel moveing on a tree. I looked up and spoted one that had just come out of his den in a tall popular. He went all the way to the top. About that time another one came off the ground and started up the same tree. The one at the top started down. They met about the middle of the tree. I was ready and when they stoped I fired the left barrel. The one on the right side did a flip and fell to the ground.I looked up to see about the other one and he was hanging by one foot and turned loose about the time I looked up. He landed about a foot from his
friend. I got up and steped it off and it was 39 steps from where I took the shot but because of the rough terrain I'll just call it 35 yds.

Didnt get to use the PRB but was happy with the left barell and that long shot for a double.

Got them in the freezer.Just a few more and we are going to make a big pot of squirrel and dumplins.

Been hunting tree rats my whole life. Thats the only time I ever got two with one shot.

I don't know whether to hug ya or choke ya Wayne. :hmm:

You see, I finished work early enough to go squirrel hunting today. Got all my gear gathered and set off for a fun afternoon.

Then it dawned on me......February 1st! Our Hoosier squirrel law went out yesterday!!! :surrender:

Went back to the house and sulked in the Sixty degree, sun-shiney weather. By the way, squirrels were EVERYWHERE today. :rotf:

Ah well, hugs to ya for a great day. Congrats! :hatsoff:

Skychief.

Thanks Skychief, I kind of know how you feel. Our deer season ended on the 31st and I was snakebit the entire season. Didnt even get a shot.
Our squirrel season is open untill the last of Feb. So at leastI can still hunt for a while.
