Hi Folks,
I own a .58 cal CVA mountain rifle I put together in 81, a .44 cal Fillipietta revolver purchased from Cabellas about 10 years ago, and a double barreled Fillipietta 12 gauge shotgun imported by Navy Arms that I put together a while back also. The Mountain rifle is the only weapon I've used extensively and primarily while deer hunting. It has served me well and supplied a lot of venison over the years.

tanthony,
Welcome to the MLF,great to have you
with us.As a youngster had my picture taken
with Fred Bear,my brother and a little 10 foot
Kodiac brown bear that Mr Bear had harvested
with a bow on Kodiac.
Damn, I wish I could find that photo!!!!
I guess it was lost in life or my brother or
sister has it....:hmm:!
As a youngster Fred Bear was my hero, fourth only behind my dad,Mickey Mantle and John Wayne.

Welcome aboard tanthony, I have fond memories of Kodiak.

Do you ever get over to the nearby Raspberry or Afognak Islands for elk?
