Just mail ordered a lyman deerstalker in anticipation of moving to Washington state. Thought I'd brush up on some people who had knowledge. This is my first time.

Welcome to the group...good place to learn. Reading some of the old topics will help. Once you get started, ask any questions you need to get past any bumps.

Welcome!! So moving down to the Tropics eh?. Its 27 degrees down here and I'm thinking about going into hibernation! :rotf: Have a great time, we have a great gal(Cynthialee) on here who lives in Washington and shot a wounded and starving Mountain Lion in her barn with a Blackpowder Handgun recently! Tough folks who live up there!.

You'll get great service and accuracy from that Deerstalker. We have a house full of muzzleloaders, but the Deerstalker in 54 cal is my wife's pick of the litter. Might be mine too, if she'd ever let me shoot it! :rotf:

You're in a good place. Lots of knowledge and good folks. Good to have you. :)
