Those little cap tins, make for great candles, a little bees wax, wick, have one in haversack, just in case. flinch

....my friends also do this, and I need to put a stop to it as I could probably shingle my house with the spare tin lids..

My wife will shop for items based on the container they come in, whether I can use it afterwards or not. :grin:
 
I don't know if those specimen jars are meant just to be "water" proof.......just sayin.....

I give the finish a final sanding with some wet/dry sandpaper, just to kind of blend in the remaining burned paint with the bare metal. A little oil to prevent rust and then it goes into my bag or shooting box to hold small items like extra nipples, flings, wedge keys, etc.
