Great job on the buck! The last deer I killed with a scoped centerfire rifle was in 1999. Since then, it has been with flintlock rifles, iron sighted big bore lever actions and bigbore handguns all with bullets that I cast myself, with the flintlock being my favorite means. It is addictive, when you can get close enough to make a clean kill with these arms it is so much more satisfying than being a long range sniper with a scoped rifle. :thumbsup:
 
Yes, I did change out the sights. This set has the small light gathering fibers. My eyes demanded that one concession to modern tools!
