My balls
Let me think, posts on balls. There's blue balls, graphite tumbled balls, wrinkled balls, balls with long sprues, balls having voids, and probably a few I've missed in posts here. Only one gun allowed!
At this moment in time my two favorite calibers are .45 and .54. I lean heavily toward percussion guns. I voted for the .45 or less however were I not winding down my hunting, an age thing, I be solid on the .54. Light hunting rifle, straight stock?

Thompson Center used octagon to round barrels on their White Mountain Carbine and PA Hunter Rifle and Carbines. I'm especially fond of the PA Hunter Carbine. There were a couple of other manufacturers offering octagon to round barrels as well. I'm not aware of any current models with this type...- Urban Coyote

Spectators
Spectators at the range, how do you handle them? If you're shooting a muzzleloader at a range mostly you deal with spectators.
