Wood bowls.

This doesn't pertain to any specific region. But, I was just wondering, when did wooden turned bowls become available? I see a few places on the web that sell turned bowls, noggins, plates, cups and mugs.

turned wooden bowls where available about the time they built the Pyramids in Egypt. I'm not sure but I think the "tredel lathe" made tools to build the pyramids.
